It was hard to narrow down our all-time favorite health products from Natural Products Expo West this year.
There were so many creative new items — many focused on being environmentally friendly, BPA-free, chemical-free, natural, made in the U.S., or other wonderful goals.
But we came up with our favorites: From a new type of feminine protection to environmentally-sound sandwich bags, we present our roundup of what intrigued us the most — the absolute “Best of Show — Product Category”:

Poppy’s Naturally Clean All Purpose Spray Cleaner

Why we love it: I don’t like chemical cleaners. Quite frankly, they scare me. I hate breathing them, touching them and using them around my family and animals. So when I ran across the Poppy’s Naturally Clean booth at the Natural Products Expo West, I had to try it. Named after owner Victoria Kheel’s English Bulldog, Poppy’s is a Los Angeles based company that offers a host of cleaning products. The products were a labor of love for Kheel, who wanted to clean her home without chemical ingredients as well as reduce the chances of poisoning the world. I tried the All Purpose Spray Cleaner, which is similar to 409, right there at the Expo. It cleaned up the mess. And best of all — there was no horrible smell or scrubbing my arm off.
